Requirements
When Freedom Fibre starts in late 2020, the company initially uses an external design platform to visualize our network. However, we are having to pay for both the design printouts and to access the data needed for our build and sales systems, and the data that we receive is inconsistent and requires a lot of manual admin.
After a rigorous comparison of available options, the business decides to switch to APX to provide us with access to an online GIS platform. This enables us to access the designs online, take control of the platform, and simplify the data integration. The fair price point and the flexibility the platform offers make choosing APX the clear solution for meeting Freedom Fibre’s business objectives.
Results
Since starting with APX in 2021, we manage to design a network to approximately 380k premises, of which 150k have been built successfully.
The software is simple to use and contains a variety of design and build tools that enable us to import designs and design new projects very efficiently while the company continues to grow at a fast pace.
In addition to the software benefits, we continue to have regular meetings with the APX team (every 2 weeks for the past 3 years) and receive an exceptional level of support – including for new features and software upgrades. Over the past three years, we request several bespoke elements that significantly improve the productivity of our designs, and some of these features are now a core part of the APX system.
